IRVINE, Calif., Sept. 21, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced the renewal of its agreement with Experian Automotive, designating AutoCheck® as the exclusive vehicle history report in its Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) vehicle program. In addition to the renewal, Mazda chose to bolster its CPO business by offering a three-year AutoCheck Buyback Protection program.
The new AutoCheck Buyback Protection program offers Mazda customers a reassuring peace of mind when they buy a CPO vehicle from Mazda. AutoCheck Buyback Protection is available at no extra cost on AutoCheck vehicle history reports if a certain title brand is found after the vehicle is reported to be free of the brand. The AutoCheck Buyback Protection program covers what the customer paid for the vehicle (up to 110 percent of the NADAguides.com published retail value) plus coverage of up to $500 in aftermarket accessories.*
"The AutoCheck Buyback Protection Program will further instill buying confidence in our customers who are looking to purchase a reliable and affordable certified pre-owned Mazda vehicle," said Ron Stettner, vice president, U.S. sales operations, Mazda North American Operations. "AutoCheck vehicle history reports provide a level of detail that will help build more trust between retailers and customers. We look forward to showing our customers that we are dedicated to their satisfaction."
"Building trust between retailers and their customers is an essential element in auto sales success today," said Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive. "Providing the detailed vehicle history information in AutoCheck to car shoppers adds instant credibility to any CPO program, and we are excited to continue our relationship with Mazda and its retail network."
In addition to the three-year buyback plan, customers also have the added benefit of using the AutoCheck report, provided by Mazda retailers on all Certified Pre-Owned vehicles in North America, to compare and select the right vehicle for their needs. Please visit Mazda CPO Vehicles for more information.
Mazda's Certified Pre-Owned program sales have dramatically increased and has consistently set company records over the past year. Mazda CPO sales are out-pacing the industry on a year-to-date basis, 34.7 percent compared to the industry average of 5.4 percent. Mazda hopes to continue the strong sales performance with this exclusive AutoCheck® enhancement.
