2014 MAZDA3 RECEIVES PRESTIGIOUS RUEDAS ESPN AWARD
Earns Best Economy Car at South Florida International Auto Show

MIAMI, Nov. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Mazda North American Operations is pleased to announce that its all-new 2014 Mazda3 has been selected as the 2013 winner of the "Ruedas ESPN Best Economy Car" award.
The all-new Mazda3 is built from the ground up with the award-winning SKYACTIV® technologies; Mazda's engineering approach to achieve increased overall vehicle efficiency, performance and fuel economy, while reducing CO2 emissions.
With the full complement of SKYACTIV® technologies combined with the handsome styling of the KODO design, the 2014 Mazda3 touts best-in-class fuel economy with 41 highway mpg.
The 2014 Mazda3, available in four-door and five-door models, is offered in four trim levels – SV (sedan only), Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. On sale now, pricing starts at less than $17,000 MSRP for sedans and less than $19,000 MSRP for five-door configurations.
The "2013 Ruedas ESPN Awards" ceremony took place on Friday, November 8th, at the Miami Beach Convention Center, as part of the 43rd edition of the South Florida International Auto Show.
Ruedas ESPN is the leading automotive radio show in Spanish in the United States, broadcast live on ESPN Deportes Radio, a network of more than 45 radio stations in the United States and Puerto Rico, as well as SIRIUS and XM Channel 149. For two hours every Sunday, from 10 AM to 12 PM EST, thousands of Hispanics all over the country tune their radios on ESPN Deportes Radio, to listen to Jaime Florez, Niky Pauli, and Sergio Rodriguez and share with them their common passions: cars, engines, anything on wheels and the latest information on automotive sports.
Ruedas ESPN executive Committee was responsible for generating the nominations. The industry experts group of jurors selected the winners of the twelve basic categories in addition to the top prize, Ruedas ESPN Car of the Year.
