EXECUTIVE BIOGRAPHY: PETER DONNELLY
Title: Regional General Manager, Northeast Region, Mazda North American Operations
Peter Donnelly is regional general manager, Northeast region for Mazda North American Operations. Donnelly is responsible for leading a regional team of 44 employees who in cooperation with all Northeast region Mazda dealers develop and grow Mazda sales and service business while exceeding customer expectations.
Donnelly joined Mazda in June 2004 as director of dealer affairs, and assumed his current position in 2005.
Donnelly began his lengthy career with Ford Motor Credit Company, where he held various positions in management and marketing. He spent four years with Marine Midland Automotive Financial Corporation, and then returned to Ford Credit where he acted as branch manager, director of national accounts & marketing, director of field operations, and vice president for the Mazda brand.
Donnelly received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Central Connecticut State University in 1980. He served as corporate chairman for the Mid New Jersey chapter of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). Donnelly lives in central New Jersey with his wife and three sons.
