IRVINE, Calif., December 9, 2011 - As part of the longest sanctioned road-race in North America, the National Auto Sport Association (NASA)'s 25 Hours of Thunderhill, Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) entered a Mazda MX-5 Miata prepared to SCCA Pro Racing Playboy MX-5 Cup specifications. The car, driven by three of the company's dealers, finished fourth in the E1 class and 35th overall out of 83 cars that started the race. Read More »

IRVINE, Calif., December 1, 2011 - Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced that, effective immediately, Leopoldo "Polo" Orellana, currently Managing Director of Mazda Motor de Mexico (MMdM), will become President of MMdM. Thank you so much, and welcome to the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. What a thrill it is for me to kick off media days with the opening press conference, and for me to follow my boss Yamanouchi-san’s keynote speech.
Yamanouchi-san referred to Zoom-Zoom earlier this morning as a sort-of rallying cry for our brand, and it is. But nowhere is Zoom-Zoom more obvious than in the cars we build.
