IRVINE, Calif. - Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced Tom Donnelly has been appointed to the position of regional general manager of MNAO's Gulf region. For the past year, Donnelly has served as MNAO's director, customer service and parts operations.
Before joining Mazda, Donnelly spent six years at J.D. Power and Associates, starting as a senior account director before becoming the vice president of automotive client services. Donnelly also spent three years at Autobytel.com, first as director of field operations and then vice president of dealer operations. He began his automotive career at Subaru of America, where he spent 10 years in a series of district and regional management positions.
"We are happy to see Tom step into his new role," said Eric Johnston, vice president, sales, service and parts, MNAO. "Tom Donnelly has held many key positions over his time in the automotive industry that has made him a perfect candidate for Gulf regional general manager."
Tom Donnelly joins regional managers Blase de Leo, Southeast region; Peter Donnelly, Northeast region; Tim Manning, Western region and Ron Stettner, Midwest region.
Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Mazda North American Operations oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico through nearly 900 dealers. Operations in Canada are managed by Mazda Canada, Inc., located in Ontario; in Mexico by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico City; and in Puerto Rico by Mazda de Puerto Rico in San Juan.
