IRVINE, Calif., Nov 17, 2008 - Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today launched a completely revised www.MazdaUSAmedia.com Web site developed to allow all members of the news media fast, easy and intuitive access to all available information on Mazda's vehicle lineup, corporate and motorsports news, executive biographies and public relations contacts.
"The difference between the best and the worst media relations departments is their ability to provide information to working members of the news media quickly, accurately and at all hours of the day and night," said Jay Amestoy, VP of Public and Government Affairs for MNAO. "We've worked hard to ensure that the new www.MazdaUSAmedia.com is user friendly, intuitive to use and will become a reliable and trusted resource for all working media."
Initially, images will be available for all Mazda vehicles produced from 2007 -2009, as well as all press releases and advisories distributed since 2002. Ongoing, updates will include historical vehicle images reaching all the way back to the company's founding in the U.S. in 1970. Additionally, the site will offer working media the opportunity to sign up for regular email updates whenever the site is updated.
Headquartered in Irvine, Calif., Mazda North American Operations oversees the sales, marketing, parts and customer service support of Mazda vehicles in the United States, Canada and Mexico through nearly 900 dealers. Operations in Canada are managed by Mazda Canada, Inc., located in Ontario, Canada, and in Mexico by Mazda Motor de Mexico in Mexico City.
