IRVINE, Calif. (August 7, 2013) – Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced the start of its #Take6 Ride and Drive program. The next time you pull into valet parking at your favorite restaurant, it may not be a parking valet greeting you, but a Mazda Take6 brand ambassador instead. Kicking off today in Seattle, Wash., Mazda’s Take6 Ride and Drive program will generate excitement around the 2014 Mazda6 by providing consumers the unique opportunity to take a short test drive and learn about the car, all within their existing lifestyle activities.
“We know that Mazda6 customers live an active lifestyle, and one of their passion points in life is a rich dining experience,” said Russell Wager, vice president of marketing for MNAO. “The Take6 program meets customers at their passion points and offers an unexpected test drive opportunity. Our goal with the program is to create a memorable experience, and this unexpected test drive opportunity is just that.”
Within the program, the fuel efficient and stylish 2014 Mazda6 will be touring 15 markets around the U.S. In only six minutes, the program will teach participants about Mazda and about the new Mazda6, and provide an engaging six-minute test drive, all while waiting for their table to be ready. Participants in Take6 will receive a gift card to the featured restaurant or mall, and a Mazda6-branded spice grinder. The tour will begin on August 7 and conclude in November.
The Take6 Ride & Drive program begins in Seattle, and will travel through Minneapolis, St. Louis, Cincinnati, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and Los Angeles.
On sale now, the 2014 Mazda6 is Mazda’s flagship mid-size sedan and offers innovative technology that delivers up to 40 highway MPG. Starting at $20,990 (MSRP), it is available in three trim levels: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring.
