WHAT: Mazda, through its just launched “Racing Accelerates Creative Education” (R.A.C.E.) educational program, will rev up students with real-world, exciting demonstrations of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) applications used throughout Mazda’s Motorsports activities and the automobile industry in general.
As a part of its curriculum, Mazda will present the following to more than 400 students ages 14-16 years old, grades 9 and 10, at Monterey High School:
Mazda Motorsports factory race driver and senior executives will be on hand to provide real life examples of what it takes to race at the highest level of the sport
Tristan Nunez (18 years old and still in high school) & Tom Long -- Mazda Motorsports factory drivers.

OTHER: Mazda is racing with domestic, renewable, synthetic clean diesel fuel and the students will learn how their trip to their local fast food restaurant-- with a dash of science--helps power Mazda’s 200-mph race cars.
