MAZDA MPV CONCEPT INTRO

Description: DETROIT, Mich. -- Mazda today (1/5/99) unveiled the dramatic MPV concept at the North American International Auto Show. "We wanted to do a vehicle that was uniquely Mazda, and the MPV concept is the latest expression of Mazda's "Get in. Be moved.' brand promise," said Martin Leach, managing director of research and development for Mazda Motor Corporation. "The MPV concept redefines the segment, proving that a minivan doesn't have to be a box on wheels. We brought style and sophistication, inside and out, and put the 'zoom' in the minivan."
