Developed entirely in-house as part of Mazda's "Building Block" strategy, SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY combines breakthrough innovation and state-of-the-art engineering and is applied to engines, transmissions, body and chassis systems -- all lighter, more efficient, with increased responsiveness. SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY will be implemented in all next-generation Mazda vehicles.
The award-winning CX-9 is a three-row, seven-passenger crossover which, like its smaller sibling the CX-7, deftly blends a sporty driving spirit into a crossover utility vehicle (CUV) package. And not only is it a standout on safety but on style and sensibility, too.
All-new for 2012, the second-generation, six-passenger Mazda5 multi-activity vehicle offers unexpected design, functionality, packaging and performance not found in any other vehicle csold in North America today. The Nagare design-inpsired Mazda5 is unique: it doesn't fit into a mold, and neither do it s owners; it suits a family, yet thrives in an active lifestyle setting; it can't be defined by a segment. Mazda5 is a vehicle done right where everything else isn't.
The 2012 MX-5 Miata continues to carry the banner of “Best-Selling Two-Seat Roadster” in the world with more than 900,000 vehicles produced. This third-generation MX-5 remains a well-balanced, lightweight sports car that withdraws little from the bank but has heavy returns on smiles. Available with either a Z-fold cloth top or segment-best-performing 12-second-operation Power Retractable Hard Top (PRHT), the 2012 MX-5 offers more legroom, a tighter turning radius than similar-sized roadsters and earns impressive fuel economy, making it the rare daily driver that just so happens to double as a weekend racer.
 According to Guinness World Records.
Freshened in 2011, the 2012 Mazda6 continues to be the mid-size sedan alternative for consumers looking beyond the standard four doors and five-passenger seating configuration operating on a ho-hum engine atop four everyday-inspired wheels and tires. Boring, average and dull do not the Mazda6 make. With technology, performance, style and passion, the 2012 Mazda6 injects a much needed Zoom-Zoom boost to the typically bland mid-size sedan segment.
MAZDASPEED3 takes all the sporty and sensible attributes of the highly-acclaimed, best-selling Mazda3 and adds a performance boost of Zoom-Zoom proportions. With a 155-MPH top speed, the MAZDASPEED3 is a fairytale marraige of performance and practicality, blending an aggressive exterior desgin with an avant-garde interior while offering a slew of standard equipment, creature-comfort package options and safety features that are bar none.
Refreshed for 2012, the Mazda3 is North America's first application of SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY, Mazda's innovative all-new fuel-saving and performance-oriented technologies, and boasts 40 highway MPG. The Mazda3 model is the brand's best-selling vehicle worldwide (more than three milllion produced since its introduction in 2004, and one of overy three Mazdas sold globally). Its popularity made the Mazda3 a prime candidate for launching SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY and providing consumers with both dynamic performance and high fuel efficiency.
Mazda2 is a stylish, eco-friendly, fun-to-drive five door. Bringing an all-new level of refinement and spunk to the subcompact segment, Mazda2 is available in two trims -- the entry-level Sport and the top-grade Touring.
